Where to go with so many options in the city by the bay

With the usual big NYE festive at massives or trendy clubs, some of the better parties to attend and celebrate the big calendar year are at places where artists have solidify their careers and their names speak volume. While not all events need the mass social media spamming promotion, the artist alone will carry a cult following crowd to ring into 2017. Here are my 3 New Years Eve events flying under the radar of the masses while peaking the interest of the veterans.

Looking to vibe to some groovy tunes? Legendary French electro duo Justice will be performing at the iconic venue, The Armory, on 14^th street, San Francisco. They have recently released their third studio EP “Woman” to great acclaim. Special guest fellow French musician and former label mate, SebastiAn, known for his remixes done for Daft Punk, Nero, and the Beastie Boys will be in attendance as well. Having witness their greatness at TBD fest in Sacramento, their set will definitely be electrifying.

If you have plans for NYE but still want to party after, Kaskade will be playing an extended redux set at 1015 Folsom. The show starts at 4am and keeps going till 10am, so be prepared well into morning. For the uninitiated, a redux set is a celebration of his style, so he will be playing plenty of his older music as well a varied mix from deep house, to future house, and even classic house from the 80’s with redux edits and mash-ups. A pancake breakfast is included at 6am as well if it wasn’t enticing enough.

Chaz Bundick better known by his stage name Toro y Moi who’s style incorporates old school house and RnB vibes into his productions returns to SF for a NYE eve party like no other. Under his other moniker Les Sins, he will be belting out old school house and disco vibes all night into the new year along with the assistance of Classixx whose atmosphere synth driven disco will keep the party going.
