Recently, up and coming, NYC producer and songwriter

DJ MIME released his debut electronic pop album 20/20 with many collaborations from other artists; where many singles have garnered over half a million plays on Spotify since its release this past January; tracks like Sry, Not in Love, and Bad to name a few.

With only 14 tracks, 20/20 highlights the diversity we love of electronic dance music with a sophisticated collection of melodic house that incorporates the variety of different genres and styles to come together, to make a melodic house album. This is the perfect album to blast cruising the highway with the windows rolled down, the sun in your face and wind in your hair.

20/20 features collaborations with emerging vocalists Zhiko, Jantine, India Parkman, Lily Denning, HAYL and more. Strange Times opens the album as a track reminiscent of the love, loss and confusion during a pandemic, while track-2 brings a funky, chilled vibe with Worth It. HAYL’s vocal on the melodic brings an upbeat progressive vibe in You’ll Be Back. There’s a song for every mood to easily relate too.

MIME wasn’t kidding when he said magic is made with collaborations, it’s felt. “I feel like when multiple creative minds come together magic can really be made, sometimes the person you’re working with could have an idea that you would have never even thought of, those WOW moments are super special in the music making process.”

It is incredible to see an independent electronic music artist emerge this quickly, with his fan base growing exponentially since his debut at Electric Zoo. MIME reflects that this was the year he was able to connect with his city roots hailing from NYC, is a self-taught producer on the rise.

MIME has collaborated with notable big names in the scene to include Hardwell, Laidback Luke, and Benny Benassi.
