HALLOWEEN is one of the top most celebrated party weekend outside of New Year‘s eve.  Growing up ‘trick-or-treating’ as kids around the neighborhoods to attending your first Halloween party, the spirit of Halloween never seems to subside as the hooligan in us look to ‘trick’ or to be ‘treated’.  It is that time of the year where our creative minds come to life and no matter the place, there is always a Halloween party to attend.

‘Unfortunately, there is just too many options’

The daunting task to choose what to be on Halloween can be just as formidable when deciding what party to attend.  So in no particular order, I came up with my top 3 Halloween shows to attend for 2016.

FREAKNIGHT 2016

USC Events presents their 20th year celebrating this 2-day event, FREAKNIGHT, October 28th and 29th, to take place at the Tacoma Dome, just 30 miles south of Seattle.  This venue used to be the home of the NBA’s Seattle Supersonics which housed over 20,000+ attendees.

So you know this party is definitely due for the making each and every year.

With a line up consisting of legendary acclaim Armin Van Buuren and Paul Van Dyk, these two artists alone could be the only reason to attend, though the lineup is pretty well stack with world-renowed artists such as ZEDD, Morgan Page, R3HAB, 3LAU, Nervo just to name a few.

BEETLEJUICE 10

Lite Brite Productions will be celebrating their 10th annual Halloween event—BEETLEJUICE.  Known for their lighting and sound staging among raves and concerts all throughout California and Nevada; yet, Lite Brite still finds the time to host couple events yearly, in the Sacramento area, such as their famous foam party—Mr. Bubble.

BEETLEJUICE has been a very interesting event to attend in the past years because of its location which takes place inside a bowling alley at The Country Club Lane. On that evening, the place will be shut down to the public and turned into a raver’s delight and festivity to include a full bar for the 21+, free arcade, bowling and  4 dancing areas supported by Northern California local DJs along with headliners Jeno and Marty Party.

This is PSYLOWEEN 2

Galaxy Unknown Records presents their 2nd year hosting a ‘FREE’ Halloween party—This is PSYLOWEEN.  Nothing beats a free party.  If you are on a budget, live in the Bay Area, love psytrance, hard house and enjoy the underground atmosphere then this party is for you.  This intimate musical journey will be brought by Random, Tandava, Cyberfyed and Galactic Illumination (Sausee & Michael Liu) to take place at Lounge 3411 in Oakland, CA.  This is a 21+ party, so kids you will have to wait for your drinking permit on this one.
