Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2024

Down the rabbit hole we went..!!!!

It may not be EDC Las Vegas but you can feel it around the corner when Beyond Wonderland is a teaser for the upcoming 2024 festival season.  Being one of the premier Southern California dance events, Beyond Wonderland gathers thousands of partygoers  beneath the sunny skies and vibrant night lights of San Bernardino, converging at the renowned NOS Event Center for a thrilling two-day extravaganza filled with funky rhythms and lasting memories.

Beyond Wonderland is themed around the Alice In Wonderland, and if you ever remember watching it as a kid, it just had a way to twist you mind around, fortunately for us grown adults, we get to experience it in real life down the rabbit hole.  But once through, Beyond Wonderland showcased some of the best from techno to house music to hardstyle like The Chainsmokers, Sara Landry, Afrojack b2b R3hab, Tchami b2b Malaa just to give an idea of talent.

Getting to the party was an eventful journey especially if though we went there late as we did on night-1. If you are planning to get drive there, get there early as parking are extremely hard to get and sometimes you may have to pay someone nearby who is willing to rent their driveway out for a flat fee because you will risk the chance to get your car broken into or towed away, pick your poison.  We opted for ridesharing that took us nearly a half an hour just to be dropped off at the front gate.  This was my first time to the NOS Event Center, so I was not sure what to expect but bumper to bumper traffic was not of them.

Inside, I was mesmerized by the whole environment and my favorite stage was the Caterpillar’s Garden; I just loved the decoration inside. The Cheshire Woods was my second favorite place to be. But if you wanted to hear the best of the best, the Queen’s Domain is where you want to be. Though I love EDC, Beyond Wonderland had a much intimate vibe and good amount of PLUR to go around, but with the good comes the bad and unfortunately there were a few raucous I witnessed.

Though it may not have been a perfect event, the music was good all-around and we got to double dip on more Subtronics due to Zeds Dead absence. My favorite sets of the event were that of Alesso and Slander to close out the main stage.

Overall, I just love the decoration and couldn’t help but to be so mesmerized by the world of Alice in Wonderland, and to think that this event is called Beyond Wonderland is truly an understatement.

Now that I am much more familiar with the layout and rooms, I will make it a plan to attend it in 2025, but for now, on to EDC Las Vegas.
